Programs
Since 2004, the Presidio Community YMCA Bicycle Program (YBike) has offered a wide range of professional bicycle and bicycle safety education programs to youth, schools, and the community-at-large.
Beyond our original after-school bike clubs, which began in 2004 at Francisco, Roosevelt, and Marina Middle Schools, and are now operating biweekly at 7 other San Francisco schools, we also offer: 1-day Bicycle safety rodeos, both in-school and at community events; Bicycling and Bicycle Safety units in Physical Education (PE) classes; Summer bike and mountain bike camps; Evening and weekend bike classes at the Presidio Community YMCA; and Safe Routes to School pedestrian and bicycle safety education programs.
