Advocacy

Many public policies affect the amount of resources allocated to bicyling as well as the access cyclists are given to infrastucture.  Major gains have been made for bicyclists in the Bay Area as the result of many groups' and individuals' hard work.  Without the work of the following organizations, the students and families in our program, and Bay Area bicyclists generally, would face more challenging, less safe conditions on the streets of San Francisco.  We urge everyone interested in having better access to safe cycling routes and calmer, more livable streets to support the following organizations.
