Starting Off a Brand New Year

Summers over already?  While we all had a blast at camp all summer, school has begun.  Here at Ybike we are hard at work gearing up for another year of programs all over San Francisco. 

This year we will be at seven middle schools running our after-school riding clubs.  In addition to our after-school programming, we look forward to supporting various PE programs including Marina Middle School's, which purchased its very own fleet of bikes last year, establishing bicycling as a regular component of their PE rotation.  We will be back at elementary schools as well, helping to deliver Safe Routes to Schools 4th and 5th grade bicycle safety rodeos.

We are excited about the upcoming year and are busy preparing for it.  We are in the process of tuning up all of our bikes to make sure they are all good to go, pouring over our curriculum to make it more effective and relevant, also we have been further developing and refining our various informational systems. 

One more bit of excitement, we were generously donated a trailer to help us move our rodeo bicycle fleet, the days of packing the van with little red bikes are no more!
