Both Camps went up to China Camp together on Friday and had a blast!  Please enjoy our video:

Today we rode up out of the Presidio via Julius Kahn Playground, then headed over to Golden Gate Park to ride some of the sweet trails by the Polo Field.

Today we practiced our skills in the schoolyard at Marina Middle School.  Dan from SF Urban Riders set up a great obstacle course for us to play on!

On top of Mount Sutro, all covered with dirt;  We ate uphills for breakfast, and switchbacks for dessert!

We rode up on Mount Sutro today.  There are some really nice single-track loops on the top of this mountain behind UCSF, which are the result of the hard work of the Mount Sutro Stewards.  They have lots of fun trail work events if you're ever interested in seeing how trails like this are built and maintained.

Today we rode our bikes up out of the Presidio and down to Golden Gate Park to practice some of the skills we learned yesterday in the dirt.  We spent most of our time on the trails near Metson Lake and the Polo Fields (click for a larger map):

For our first day of Mountain Bike Camp this year we rode over to Marina Middle School and set up some skills practice in their yard.  Dan from SF Urban Riders brought over some of his challenging obstacles and we rode on them all day!

Today we rode to the Ballpark via Fort Mason and the Embarcadero to watch a little bit of the Giants Orioles game.  We stopped at some nice grassy parks along the way to take breaks and fuel ourselves with tasty snacks...  Yum!
